BrainCheck Pilot Grant
BrainCheck Pilot Grant is committed to advancing research for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and care of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).
We are particularly interested in supporting research in the following areas, though not limited to:
- Increasing representation of population diversity
- Combining or comparing biology and digital biomarkers for prevention, diagnosis, and prognosis
- Increasing remote or in-person cognitive screening, assessment and monitoring for old adults
- Detecting cognitive decline and disease in primary care or community settings
- Early detection of cognitive decline and disease
Award
BrainCheck Pilot Grant will fund up to two projects. The awards include:
- Up to $10,000 in total direct costs (no indirect costs will be covered)
- The budget must be allocated over a maximum of 12 months, and the grant is non-renewable
- One year free access to all BrainCheck products (check www.braincheck.com)
Eligibility
Eligible institutions include higher education institutions (colleges, universities, medical or nursing schools), medical centers, health systems, for-profit organizations, or other nonprofits. Applicants must:
- Hold a faculty or research scientist or postdoctoral researcher position at an eligible institution or be qualified to serve as a Principal Investigator at their organization.
- Researchers at the early career stage are especially encouraged to apply.
