Matthew Cerullo joined BrainCheck in April 2022 as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing over 15 years of experience in medical devices and digital health. He leads BrainCheck’s sales, business development, and revenue operations, ensuring its cognitive assessment technology reaches the providers, health systems, and payers that need it most.
Before BrainCheck, Matthew served as SVP of Sales at Real Time Medical Systems, where he led strategic sales initiatives to help healthcare organizations leverage real-time data analytics for improved patient outcomes. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Medline Industries in multiple leadership roles, driving integrated health network partnerships, expanding national accounts, and scaling revenue across diverse healthcare markets.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Philosophy. Passionate about transforming sales processes and commercial strategies in healthcare, he has deep expertise in scaling digital health solutions and building high-performance teams.
Based in Denver, CO, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. Outside of work, he’s an avid skier, hiker, camper, and hunter, and loves traveling to explore new places.
Jennifer Cobb joined BrainCheck in October 2023 as Vice President of Product Management, bringing more than 15 years of experience in risk adjustment, value-based care, and government healthcare programs. She leads BrainCheck’s product strategy, research, and execution, ensuring that BrainCheck’s digital cognitive assessment tools are accessible, scalable, and impactful for clinicians and healthcare organizations.
Prior to BrainCheck, Jennifer served as Lead Director of Product & Margin Management at Aetna, a CVS Company (2022–2023), where she oversaw the financial performance of 100 Medicare Advantage products and managed risk adjustment programs to optimize revenue and cost efficiency. Before that, she was Senior Director of Product Management at Signify Health (2021–2022), leading Quality, Stars, and Risk Adjustment initiatives across Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer spent over five years at Priority Health (2014–2019), where she developed and implemented risk adjustment and quality programs. She also served in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (2009–2014), ensuring veterans received accurate and timely compensation, pension, and education benefits.
Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Northern Arizona University. Her expertise in healthcare analytics, regulatory compliance, and product innovation makes her a key driver of BrainCheck’s mission to enhance early cognitive impairment detection and patient care.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. Whether carving down the slopes on a ski trip, playing a competitive match of tennis, or hitting the golf course as a family, they enjoy every moment spent together in the great outdoors.
Dr. Reza Hosseini Ghomi is a practicing neuropsychiatrist at Frontier Psychiatry, focused on neurodegenerative disorders. In addition to serving as Chief Medical Officer at BrainCheck, he is a faculty member in the University of Washington’s Department of Neurology and Institute for Neuroengineering.
Dr. Hosseini Ghomi earned his undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering and computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He later pursued medical research, earning a graduate degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Chris Loughlin, CEO, joined BrainCheck in October 2024. Since March 2020, he has served as Managing Partner at Pixiu Investments, a private equity firm in Austin, Texas, where he oversees investments in Austin F.C., Socialsuite, Tiff’s Treats, and Easy Tiger. From February 2016 to March 2020, he was CEO of Digital Pharmacist, a patient engagement platform for pharmacies, leading a significant scale-up from fewer than 200 pharmacies and less than $1M in ARR to 7,500 pharmacies, millions of patients, and over $20M in ARR. Digital Pharmacist was acquired by K1 Investment Management in December 2018.
From September 2001 to December 2015, he held various senior positions at Travelzoo (NASDAQ: TZOO), where he developed the company’s hotel, tour operator, and airline products and revenue streams, and launched and scaled its European business. Serving as CEO for 5 1/2 years, he led the company to $160M+ in revenue, meeting or beating the Street in 20 out of 22 quarters. During his tenure, Travelzoo grew to 600 employees, expanded to 26 offices worldwide, scaled to 30 million subscribers globally, and was recognized on Crain’s list of Best Places to Work.
Chris holds a BSc (Honors) in Technology Management from Staffordshire University, as well as an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business focused on entrepreneurship and strategy, and an MBA from Columbia Business School focused on finance.
Chris is active in the Austin community; he is the former Board Chair of YPO Austin and the current Education Chair of YPO Austin Gold. He served on the National Leadership Board of the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas. He was recognized as Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Barclays Commercial and “Most Likely to Challenge the Status Quo” by alumni of the University of California, Haas School of Business.
Chris has extensive public speaking experience, having appeared on Jim Cramer’s Mad Money twice, spoken at the Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Internet Media Conferences, and served as a keynote speaker for 4,500+ pharmacists at the Cardinal Health Annual Convention in San Diego. Chris is married to Kathleen Irvin Loughlin, an Austin-based philanthropist focused on women in the arts and a Tony Award-winning producer. They have two children. Chris has a family history of dementia and Alzheimer’s and is motivated to develop digital products that can have a positive impact.
Mary Patterson is a clinical and operational leader committed to building standard of care medical technology portfolios and advancing healthcare through clinical research. She brings to BrainCheck a decade of experience in the neuroscience research space with expert familiarity in Alzheimer’s Disease, Neurointerventional and Neurovascular research and technology. She is a proven team manager with experience leading large scale Phase I through Phase IV IDE and IND clinical trials from study design and development through 510K and CE Mark approval.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Ohio University and a Masters of Science in Aging and Neuroscience from the University of South Florida.
Molly Penna is a dynamic leader with over 10 years of experience in healthcare, strategy, and technology. Since joining BrainCheck in 2021, she has led the company’s expansion into national and regional healthcare systems. Her efforts have transformed the implementation of cognitive health solutions in fee-for-service and value-based-care medical institutions. She spearheaded key initiatives like the first EHR integration with Epic and engaged with hospital executive leaders and clinicians to ensure successful adoption. Molly streamlines customer success processes and retention strategies, ensuring solutions align with go-to-market initiatives and business development goals.
Before BrainCheck, Molly led healthcare strategy projects, development of custom technology platforms, and advised local nonprofits through pro bono engagements at Deloitte. Molly holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with minors in Mathematics & Military Science from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude and serving as President of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society.
Molly is passionate about transforming healthcare through technology, empowering providers with innovative tools to improve patient outcomes.
Judd Rabb, CPA, is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience driving strategic growth and operational excellence in technology start-ups and high-growth companies. He has held key leadership roles at companies such as OJO Labs, Digital Pharmacist, Main Street Hub, SolarBridge Technologies, BazaarVoice and Silicon Laboratories, where he supported over $175 million in venture capital financings, $85 million in private debt transactions, and three IPOs raising over $465 million.
Judd’s expertise spans M&A, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and scaling operations through effective systems and team development. A results-driven leader, he has played pivotal roles in transactions exceeding $800 million, bringing disciplined financial stewardship and strategic insight to every organization he serves. Judd was named CFO of the Year by the Austin Business Journal, and was a founding member of the FASB’s Private Company Financial Reporting Committee. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and a CPA in the State of Texas.
Bassel Samman is an accomplished software architect with deep expertise in engineering and infrastructure management. With over a decade of experience as a Software Engineer and Developer prior to joining BrainCheck, he has consistently delivered scalable software solutions, managed complex rollouts, and ensured robust infrastructure security.
Bassel joined BrainCheck in 2015 as Senior Architect, where he played a key role in transforming and scaling the company’s infrastructure over the course of nearly a decade. Since November 2024, he has served as Vice-President of Engineering, bringing his technical leadership and strategic vision to the company’s ongoing growth and innovation.
