With the rise of digital health solutions, BrainCheck proposed integrating BrainCheck Screen™, a cognitive screening tool, directly into their website to bridge the gap between online research and in-person care. The goal was to offer a seamless way for individuals to assess their cognitive health at their convenience, empowering them to take proactive steps toward care.

By embedding BrainCheck’s cognitive screening tool on their website, Grey Matters provided a simple, user-friendly way for visitors to assess their cognitive health in 5 minutes. The seamless integration allowed users to complete the cognitive screen from the comfort of their homes, with immediate results that were easy to understand. The screening results encouraged individuals to take the next step in seeking care, effectively converting website visitors into patients. This gave potential patients the confidence to move forward with professional evaluations, streamlining the process for both individuals and Grey Matters’ team.
In the initial fifteen weeks of the pilot, this initiative led to the generation of 130 additional cognitive screens for the practice—significantly expanding their reach and allowing them to engage individuals who might not have otherwise sought a screening. Even better, 5 of those individuals have already converted into long-term patients.
Driving Brand Awareness and Engagement
To drive traffic and engagement, Grey Matters promoted the tool through event marketing, print advertisements, and brochure distribution – all this boosting substantially their monthly website sessions.

In the initial 11 weeks, 189 users engaged with the screening tool. Of those, 47% completed the screen and provided their contact information, leading to 89 potential patient leads. Additionally, 23 users, making up 26% of completed screens and 12% of total engaged users, were flagged as requiring further testing. Comparing data to the 8- week benchmark of 128 engaged users and 55 completions, Grey Matters continues to see steady growth in potential patient leads.
On average, eight screens were completed per week, with two high-priority leads requiring further testing.
