Kim Rodriguez
Chief Executive Officer
Kim Rodriguez has 25 years of global healthcare and medical device industry experience, spanning multiple therapeutic areas—including neurology, cardiology, and women’s health. Most recently, as a Venture Partner at S3 Ventures, she supported the firm’s healthcare investments. Earlier, she served as CEO & Co-Founder of Acessa Health—a venture-backed startup providing a minimally-invasive, uterine-sparing fibroid treatment for women. Under her leadership, the company raised $30M, launched a new product, obtained broad insurance coverage, and was acquired by Hologic for over $120M in upfront and expected follow-on payments. Previously, Kim was CEO at Halt Medical and led the largest business unit, Vascular Intervention, at Spectranetics (acq. by Royal Philips for $2.2B). She has held senior leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, Blockade Medical (acq. by Balt International), Concentric Medical (acq. by Stryker Neurovascular), Guidant Corporation (acq. by Abbott Vascular), and Microvena (acq. by ev3). Kim received her Executive MBA at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and BS in Management from Pepperdine University.
David Eagleman, PhD
Co-Founder
Dr. David Eagleman is a visionary leader in the neuroscience field. He currently teaches at Stanford University and heads the Center for Science and Law. In addition to receiving numerous awards for his academic research and work, David is a New York Times best-selling author, a TED speaker, and the creator and host of the Emmy-nominated PBS series, The Brain.
Reza Hosseini Ghomi
MD, MSE, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Reza Hosseini Ghomi is a practicing neuropsychiatrist, focused on neurodegenerative disorders. In addition to serving as Chief Medical Officer at BrainCheck, he is faculty of the University of Washington department of neurology and Institute for Neuroengineering. Reza received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, has post-graduate training in psychiatry and neurology, and holds an MSE in biomedical and electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Matt Cerullo
Chief Revenue Officer
Matt is an accomplished leader with 15 years of experience driving top line revenue for medical device and digital health solutions across the provider and payer landscape. His collaborative approach to transforming sales processes to align with a strategic vision has proven to dramatically fuel growth and business development initiatives.
Jennifer Cobb
Vice President of Product Management
Jennifer Cobb is an accomplished healthcare leader with more than 15 years of experience in risk adjustment, value-based care, and managing government programs. She comes to BrainCheck from Aetna, where she specialized in revenue optimization and medical loss ratio management. Prior to this role, she held senior executive positions at Signify Health, Priority Health, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Electronic Media from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University.
William Sierra-Lenhart
Vice President of Engineering
William “Billy” Sierra-Lenhart is a renowned engineer and artist whose career has traversed technology, art, defense, and communications. Billy has provided consulting support to clients ranging from political candidates to transportation service providers, and founded a number of start-ups including DisruptDev and ThaTrunk. After several years of driving the modernization of the Pearson Clinical digital assessment platform, Billy joined BrainCheck in 2018 as Director of Technology, steering the product as it pivoted to the clinical space. After being named Director of Engineering in 2019, Billy was named Vice-President of Engineering in 2021.
Chelsea Dugan
Vice President of Marketing
Chelsea Dugan is an accomplished global marketing leader with extensive experience in the medical technology industry, spanning multiple clinical areas including radiology, radiation oncology, surgery and dermatology. She joined BrainCheck from iCAD, Inc., the market leader in artificial intelligence (AI) for breast cancer detection, density assessment, and risk evaluation. Under her leadership, iCAD’s brand health experienced significant improvement year-over-year, attracting key strategic partners including Google Health and driving worldwide adoption. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Masters of Business Administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
Tommy Pfeiffer
Sr. Director of Finance & Operations
Tommy Pfeiffer has a decade of experience in early-stage healthcare technology companies, covering various areas including biometrics, population health analytics, bundled pricing/network development, post-acute analytics, and digital assessments. He applies his understanding of complex market dynamics paired with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment to leading Finance & Operations at BrainCheck. Leveraging his analytical skills, strategic mindset, and adaptability, he is focused on optimizing operational efficiencies to manage costs and drive revenue. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Miami University.
Mary Patterson
Sr. Director of Clinical Operations
Mary Patterson is a clinical and operational leader committed to building standard of care medical technology portfolios and advancing healthcare through clinical research. She brings to BrainCheck a decade of experience in the neuroscience research space with expert familiarity in Alzheimer’s Disease, Neurointerventional and Neurovascular research and technology. She is a proven team manager with experience leading large scale Phase I through Phase IV IDE and IND clinical trials from study design and development through 510K and CE Mark approval. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Ohio University and a Masters of Science in Aging and Neuroscience from the University of South Florida
